Another thing... Do you remember what the angle of repose means? We either have to place our foundation deep into the ground and place the septic tank above it. Or We can place the septic tank on the side of the house. If we place it below pads the tank can get smashed by the foundation and we'll end up in the pond of sewage.
yeah, wow i thought the tanks were bigger than that. I reckon we can be more conservative with the water than i've put on the table, especially with taking showers (once a week guys once a week!!) and i also worked it out in terms of conventional appliances but we won't be using them right?
Jason, what lena means is that we can't just put the septic tank between the pads because the piping is running along the beam and hence straight towards the one of the bad footings. Lena, perhaps we're just going to have to redirect the pipe and place, the septic tank between the pads like what j said. this isn't such a bad thing after all as all these twists and turns in the piping will help keep the smells out of the house. Also don't forget a stack vent going straight up from the septic tank.
I also mean that the pads don't need to be deep in the ground. and the tank volume will be bigger then the pad volume so the tank will be BELOW the pad. and hence the building weight will be pushing on the tank and possible crushing it... there is another option we can go for I'll explain it to you on Wednesday. Basically we can replace pads with vibrated in poles.

hahhaa, vibrated in poles. you mean piles? Isn't there also a type where you can literally screw them deep into the ground?
yeah it will put the foundation BELOW septic tank... no issue. the real life issue is how to bring this equipment to the rural site. :)
